Although the music and company were most excellent, friends and I made it an early night tonight. Seemed like 2 1/2 hours of live tunes, after 3 back-to-back meetings, after a new website mock-up... was plenty for one day. 'Specially when tomorrow morning I need to get up seriously early and start checking more stuff off that ever-growing list.
After friend dropped me off, I jumped on here to check a little email then started following links. You know how it happens - 10 minutes later you can't remember where you started. The rain brought me back.
There is very little like the sound of that rain on my rooftop. Yours either, prolly.
Now I'm taking out these contacts, pouring a tall glass of chilled water, and curling up with my book. Cindi and Dena said I should read it. Glad they said so; quite enjoying it. Even if I streamline 1/4 of my processes, the increased efficiency I am imagining emerging from my reading of The 4-Hour Workweek, the investment will be worth it. (The full investment, Dena. I couldn't wait 4 days for Amazon to deliver.) Oh how I do love instant gratification...
