Loving variety - it's the little things

105053-944131-thumbnail.jpgI am having So Much Fun. Tonight while making more necklaces, I've been looking at the variety and marveling at how our brains work. I mean, I have made rather a lot of necklaces...yet every single one of them is different. Sure, I reuse some beads, and the curve of the wire is often similar, as are glaze colors and the occasional pendant shape. But never have I come close to duplicating a pendant, much less a whole necklace design. It's kind of mind-boggling, really. Because it's got nothing to do with me. It's just how my brain is wired. In fact, if I tried to duplicate, I'd be hard pressed to succeed in that arena.

Although there's an episode of Iron Chef America on right now, so as long as I listen and don't watch too carefully, I'm highly entertained while I work. Although I've got to admit I've never heard of a "blue foot chicken" before. Guess I'll learn, too. 'Cause that's what they're cookin' tonight!

Hope your weekend was also grand. Cheers!
