They're all coming home

It occurred to me a few days ago that 5 of my American friends have been outside the country at the same time. Eastern Europe, Australia, England and Scotland were the destinations of their choosing. I think that by tomorrow they'll all have arrived home, surely safe and sound.

Now comes the waiting period. The considerate space of time during which I wait for their sleep cycles to return to "normal" and for any jet lag they may be experiencing to go away.

Then it's on. I intend to live some seriously vicarious experiences through my friends' travel stories. I want to see pictures. I want to hear of the little, silly things they'd almost forgotten. I want to know it all, babies. So if you're one of my friends and you're sitting at your computer, surfing the net mindlessly as you try to decide if you should go to bed at 3 in the afternoon or suck it up and try and wait until a little closer to a usual Eastern Time Zone schedule, and you've happened upon my site, this is for you. I've missed you. I'm glad you're home. I can't wait to hear all about your trip.

So get those pictures ready!
