Today, somebody else's inventory

I've been writing a lot about my own beading inventory lately as I work to get my beads and other jewelry making supplies in order. But this morning I'm going to count something different altogether. Every year, a good friend who runs an outfitter store invites her freelancer friends (and any other upstanding people she can find,) to help count Capilene and Patagonia and Nalgene and whatever else they carry in her fascinating retail establishment. And this year I said yes for the first time in several years. Sounded like she was understaffed.

And so before I get everything really prepared for tonight's "beading soiree" I'm going to count socks. But first I have to wake up. I haven't been out of bed at six a.m. in a very long time.
