Little reading and music for your evening...

Hey there, dear patient blog reader types. How are you? I ask although most of you say very little in the comments here. It's enough to see, in my stats, that you still peek over and check to see if I've written. And so thank you for checking in!

No eloquence will fly from my fingertips tonight, but I'm in Very Fine Mood and just felt like mentioning it here. It was a good day. Lately I've spent Far More Time Than Usual In My Own Company - so much so that I've started getting emails (which I'm sorry to say I haven't yet taken the time to respond to,) from friends checking to see if I'm okay. Yes, I'm okay. Just completely and utterly consumed with my work and personal reflections and reading and music and, y'know, Being. Although of course sometimes I'm lucky enough to spend a bit of quality time in the company of others, too, which I did today as well. Happy time.

See that video up there? I watched So You Think You Can Dance tonight with a couple of my friends and this song, one I love more than I can probably tell you, (along with the movie Once that featured said song, one of my favorite movies of all time,) was featured in one of the dance performances. Breathtaking sounds which probably made me love the routine even more than I might have otherwise, although I don't know - I'm always fairly well consumed by the beauty of these great dancers, who make me imagine, if only for those two hours that I Could Do That If I Wanted To. Yea, right. But it's my fantasy, not yours, so that's enough for me!

Okay, it's long past bedtime. Thank God for clients on the West Coast, which means I was on the phone working just a few minutes ago, allowing me to justify the fact that I did not, in fact, roll out of bed at 5:30 this morning, like one of my friends told me she did. She's already asleep now, of course...

Hope you're well. Because really? Life is quite fantastic, isn't it? When you think about it...
