Once you're ready to build a website,
the following questions will help you get started. Please review the list below and answer the ones you can. If you're undecided about any of the answers, just leave those blank and move on to the next one on the list. Together we can explore the areas in which you're undecided.

  • What is the purpose of your website? Who is your site's audience? Do you hope to gain more clients for your business? Or perhaps you want to communicate better with your existing clientele. Identifying your intended audience will help us to create a more effective online presence.

  • Do you wish to start with a clean slate or do you have an idea in your mind of what your website should look like?

  • Are there specific websites you really like to return to again and again? If so, what are they?

  • What is it about specific sites that you find most appealing?

  • Do you know how many pages you’d like it to have? Please make a list of pages/links you know you'll need.

  • Are there any specific colors or color schemes you'd like to be used in your site? Do you have favorite fonts for use in your graphics and headers?

  • Do you have any interest in maintaining your own site (if the person helping with your site is able to teach you how,) or will you prefer to have someone maintain it for you?

  • Will your website have a blog? Or any sort of regular content that needs to be posted regularly to the site? Maybe a comment board, guest book, or discussion board?

  • How frequently do you expect to need your site to be updated?
After answering as many of these questions as possible, once you've reviewed samples of my other work and learned a bit about my working style, please feel free to contact me. It will be my pleasure to discuss the possibility of working with you to develop the direction of your new online project.
