Note: No Longer Offering This Service

As my schedule has continued to fill up, I've decided that any website work I do going forward will be only sites that are managed by Squarespace. (See samples here.) Nonetheless, I'm keeping a few samples on this page for now. I had fun with these projects, and I'd love for Dena and Andy to get the occasional link from my site. If you need the services of a freelance writer or of a Seattle-area staging professional, maybe these ladies could hook you up! And Dena's book is a hoot if you're a cat person - great gift idea, too, even if you're not.

The more traditional website designs featured on this page were developed using a combination of simple html and CSS.

It isn't every day that a potential client calls with the promise of needing an interesting powerofstaginglink.jpgwebsite that features "pretty pictures." But that's just what Andy Capelluto offered in a recent project. Creating a site as vibrant as this Seattle-based home staging professional was my challenge. The results, seen at The Power of Staging, make me particularly proud when I recall that we collaborated on this project without ever even meeting face to face.

When freelance writer, Dena Harris, decided it was time to revise her denaharrislink.jpgprofessional website, she called me. Having worked well together to develop the site for her first book, we took that experience and built on it to enjoy a truly collaborative project. This site allowed me to translate my client's vision into a site that better reflects the scope of her professional offerings.

This site was developed to promote a book of cat humor. Lessons in Stalking was on its lessonsinstalkinglink.jpgway from the press when I was hired to develop the site. In many ways that made it fairly easy to complete this project. I expanded upon the cover art that had been created for the book, and created informational pages around a standard design. Author, Dena Harris, already had a hosting package for her professional website and so we were able to easily meet the two week deadline; the website was online before the first book was purchased!
