Tiny little day trip

So I've been awake for a few minutes - thanks birdies! - trying to figure out how to be productive today...in a minivan. Can't really take jewelry supplies and can't get much computing done, either. Then it occurred to me: it might be okay to take my laptop and SEE if there's time to work on some photo downloads and resizing, but actually? This is a family thing and maybe I should just be with my family and forget about work for the day. So that's what I'm gonna' do. Oooooh! But I can take my ProBlogger book with me and read aloud to sis here and there as we meander down the road! Heh...

My Granddaddy came to visit my parents in SC from AL. The plan was he would stay a couple of weeks. The plan changed. He's homesick now and therefore he's leaving Saturday. Kinda' makes it impossible for us to go see him on Sunday, though...

So, today sis and  her munchkin and I are loading up and driving down for a while. It's going to be a really short trip - as is often the case - but so be it. I haven't seen Granddaddy in way too long (also, sadly, often the case,) and there's no way either one of us would miss this chance. So that's where I'll be. Hopefully I'll return with great stories and a photo or two.

Cheers!

It's been well over a year since I stopped designing jewelry - for anybody other than myself, anyway - but I haven't completely eliminated the jewelry part of my site. Plus I still get enough interest from people wanting to see what I used to design, so for now these links just live down here. For now, anyway. Enjoy!
