Swan Lake - not your everyday ballet

swanlakewetten.jpg

Sometimes nothing but the fantasy of music and dance will do. This one is nothing short of spectacular. The beginning is fun, but if you keep watching? You'll be amazed. I'd say a close cousin of some of the Cirque de Soleil performers. Which, you might not be surprised to know, I enjoy watching and imagining that's me up there. What if you could do this?

I've never been that limbre on my feet let alone standing on my hands. Amazing. Maybe in my next life.

I'm especially amazed with the "en pointe" on top of his head, while turning!

I used to dream of such when I was a child. Now, I dream of being able to move from downward dog into upward dog without having to stop. Ha.

Tamara, you or me either one... I've always wanted to be limber. But clearly not badly enough. Next life indeed...

Lizzy, that was my favorite part, too. And? At least you do yoga! :)

Wow...and I was psyched tonight when I could put my nose to my knees while stretching. I'm inspired try to stand on Joe's shoulders tomorrow morning...out of a pool!

I am both impressed and depressed. To be that talented and the gracefulness amazes me, it is much like observing a deer or a gazelle. And it may sound odd for those of you who are thinking in terms of health and wellness (ie, the yoga thaing) but I wasn't envisioning upward and downward dog but there were certainly pages of the Kama Sutra coming to the forefront of my mind.

I guess that my husband's return is happening just in time, huh?

Shannon, I had a huge laugh when I read this. Thanks! And congrats, too. I'm thrilled your honey is coming home. Ya'll have fun, now, y'hear? :)
