It's been a while since I've been so pleased with a day's work in clay, so I had to shoot one more photo and let you see how they are at this stage, now that I've cleaned up some of the raggedy edges, added my logo stamp to the back, and inserted the hole that will enable me to turn these into necklace accents instead of little slabs of clay with funky designs in them.
Count 'em. I believe you will find there are 43. Or maybe not. It's tricky to count this many odd-shaped objects with my attention span. But still...between these and last week's work, all dried and awaiting their turn in the firing, I'm confident I now have enough pieces for the show. Although of course I want to do some in porcelain, and have about 20 more un-tapped ideas roaming around in my head that I still want to try. So who's to say? Plus I have to make a buttload of beads for the bracelets and earrings. Nope. Not time to stop yet...
