Smells - gifts that keeps on giving?

Do you also have a thing about scents? About smells? (Scents when they're good, smells when they're bad, perhaps?) As in, some linger far too long, others never long enough?

And why do I bring it up? you ask. Well, when's the last time you smelled anything like burnt popcorn? Like the burnt popcorn that's permeating my home. Still. This morning. After I burned it yesterday evening. (Note to self - just because some microwaves have "popcorn" buttons, don't assume that if you press them twice they're automatically set to pop the little bags for you.)

I hadn't remembered it being so strong. Or so long-lasting. Wonder how I'll get rid of that satisfactorily???

As luck would have it, I noticed Google dropped a couple of ads about odor removers on your blog posting! There you have it -- Google answers questions that you don't even ask it! :-D

Sean that's very funny.

I should admit that it only occurred to me later than you might imagine that taking out the trash would be a good start. Sad but true...

Melody -

Heloise (the lady in the paper who writes the Hints) had something about burnt popcorn sometime in the last week. I *think* it had something to do with the juice of a lime/lemon/orange and a cup of water in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Don't remember for sure though . . .

Hey, that's cool! I'll look it up and see what I find. 'Cause knowing me, this won't be the last time. Thanks for the tip... And good to hear from you!
