It's a fallen world. What can I say? If Adam and Eve hadn't eaten that apple, things would be better:

--coffee would taste as good as it smells
--chocolate would be a diet food
--snowfalls would not degenerate into dirty slush
--getting to Paris would not require a transatlantic flight
--or more money than one had
--we ALL would do work that gave us joy--and be PAID for it!

Ah but a man's reach should exceed his grasp . . . or what's a heaven for? (No, I did not make that up. Rbt. Browning beat me to it!)
