Two little emails from sis, about to depart for an out-of-town conference. Great way to start the day with a smile.

Subject: "permitted items on airlines"

Did you know that you are not allowed to carry on cattle prods when flying?  You can, however, check your cattle prod, so no need to worry if you are en route to the rodeo or cattle drive or what not.
