Monday, 17 December, 2007 at 5:52 PM So here's what I've been thinking today. Other people just get regular jobs where the employer handles what their tasks are. Those employers tell them what to do, sure, and they have to dress presentably before they show up (on time) to the same place, 5 days in a row. But there's predictability in that, see. And you know what else? You don't have to ask people to pay you. They just send you a check every month. At those regular jobs. Where people work something like 8-5 every day, 5 days a week.
The rest of the time? They decide when and where and what and how much. Sure, it's routine, but I've been thinkin'...
No doubt it's related to my latest not-yet-mid-life-but-still-identity-crisis. Probably...

Hey Susannah! Thanks - I'll send it.
And that's a cool by-product of this blog, but that rant wasn't written about you...so ya' know. (Read my blog long enough and you'll see lots of evidence of erratic crises of this nature.) Good to hear from you!
