Then the computer flew out the window

Do you think of yourself as an intelligent person? After years of not being 100% sure about that answer, I can finally say that for the most part I actually do. Yup. I'm a pretty bright cookie.

And Technology? It's a good thing. Really.

And I know that eventually all I'm trying to take into my brain today will absolutely click for me and suddenly these coding mysteries will seem like old hand. But I gotta' tell ya...some days I have to wonder if something wasn't wired slightly askew in this head of mine. Or maybe I'm just impatient because I rarely even approach subjects that aren't intuitively in line with the way my mind works.

Okay, the Complaining Rant is now over. Gotta' go study some more...

Lest I leave anyone questioning whether or not I actually did have to turn on my computer, or that I'm still sitting here crying over wonky pixel rendering in a seemingly simple CSS file, I'm not. I gave up on Monday night. Then yesterday after a day "out and about," meeting and drinking coffee and filling my hours with other non-computer-related endeavors, I returned here. And sat in this chair for hours...until I figured it out.
