Lookin' for my groove...again

What IS it these days? Is anybody else walking around just going through the motions, or is it just me? I swear I'm a happy person! And that I have many, many blessings, most of which do not elude me. And still I feel my rhythm is just a little off. That it has been for some time now.

Nonetheless, just as we're supposed to do, I'm plugging on:

  • writing,
  • organizing,
  • doing laundry,
  • studying this program-of-neverending-challenges,
  • considering getting caught up on my email,
  • blogging,
  • making necklaces,
  • studying more,
  • researching...

Yah, another week just about passed. Sheesh! Better get back to the studying, then.

Cheers!

I have times like that Melody. It's usually when a period of change is about to occur and I think we sort of mentally cocoon ourselves in instinctive defense of what may be out there. It's usually good things, but all change is stressful. Hang in there and your rhythm will come back, with a new beat.

I'd also recommend taking a day and just blowing off work. Give yourself the 24-hour release of "I don't HAVE to do anything." Go to a movie. Chill on the coach. Sleep all day. You might be more ready to tackle those to-do lists after such a break.

Cheers!

Thank you Dena. I do appreciate the encouragement and I've sort of heeded your advice. Guess what? It's working! :) (Go figure...)
