Goin' to Seattle...

105053-313486-thumbnail.jpgDid ya'll know that? That I'm going to Seattle? I can't remember if I've mentioned, lately, that it's really happening. On the 26th, I think it is, I'm flying to see all my Seattle buddies and staying for two weeks. Might do some web work while I'm out there, too, since a possibility has emerged, and who knows? Maybe I'll also see about getting some of my jewelry into some of the neat little shops I hear are all over the place out there.

There are also a whole pile of glorious farmer's markets that highlight the work of artisans, but that didn't seem to be a good idea to pursue yet. You either have to be a member or show up at the crack of dawn (or before) and wait for hours for a first-come sort of deal AFTER you find out how many members showed up first. So I'm just thinking that can be for next visit. Whenever that is.

Seattle sounds like so much fun and Rachel and Bob have sent a gajillion photos to entice me. (The one I'm including here was taken a while back, I believe, of Sunset Park. Aptly named, wouldn't you say?)  And Rhianon told me a gajillion stories to do the same, so between all my Seattle pals, you can see that it was a no brainer.  I'm mentioning it today because not only did I want to give a little bit of, er, foreshadowing, that my topics are likely to return to travel and Seattle soon.

Lots to do before then, though...

I'm jealous! Of the trip to Seattle but more so that you get to see Rachel & Bob. Take lots of pictures and blog about everything. And give them lots of hugs from me (hugs for Zappa the Cat too, of course).
