Well you can revise THAT to-do list...

I thought I knew what was in store for me this morning when I started my work day. Among other tasks, I expected to continue work on a website for a client who seems pleased with my work, send a list of questions to a different client (an organization rather than an individual, which draws from an occasionally different set of skills,) and continue to organize the upcoming Beading Parties I sent invations out for yesterday.

Well, I've been doing that, all right. But added to the mix was an unexpected email asking for a quote for a very small website. Then later on, a client called to see if I can meet with her and a friend of hers who also needs a site. Repeat business and referrals are on the UP side of the roller coaster that can be a freelancer's existence.

Meanwhile, I had a great email exchange with another freelancer yesterday. I think I'm going to write about her in an upcoming blog entry. One of my goals for this year is to use my website to share more resources: for freelancers, artists, small business owners, bloggers, and those with A.D.D. Conducting interviews with specific people and publishing them on my site will fold quite nicely into that goal. So look for some of those this year.

And now, I'm going to "get (back) on it," while I'm on a roll...
