Thinking about friends you lose touch with

I wrote something backwards and was noticing it a minute ago. Reminded me of Jon, with whom I haven't spoken in years - and it's my fault for letting the correspondance drop - laughing at me one night for a similar word pattern. He remarked, "Sometimes my words backwards I say." Struck me as particularly funny that night. I remember it occasionally and still laugh.

I need to call them sometime soon. Some friends it's a shame to let go.
