It's been a few days since Adderall and

...although I've noticed a diminished presence of those compulsive tics that I announced, they're still here sometimes. Could it be mostly when I need sleep? Hm...I need to be monitoring this stuff.

The Strattera is supposed to work differently than the others (Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall) which is to say you feel those ones' effects the day of, and the aforementioned meds I'm now taking won't really start to "work" for a while. A week or two if I remember correctly.

Funny how early on I couldn't get enough reading material about this stuff. I knew offhand the different dosages of this one and the typical side effects of that one, who in my life took this one and what the person I read about online had reported about that one.

Nowadays I'm so jaded. They tell me to try something, I take it. "How often?" I ask. I don't object. I don't read up. It's not that I think I shouldn't. Nor that I think you shouldn't. I just discovered that my body doesn't seem to do anything on any of these meds consistently anyway, so I take it one day at a time (like they used to tell you, all the time, before you'd ever heard of anything called Attention Deficit Disorder,) and get on with my life. My gloriously scattered life.

It'll be very much cool when my eyes don't do this wonky, messed up thing. It's mighty annoying.
