In case anyone's curious...

My family was one of the lucky ones concerning the passing through of Hurricane Dennis. (Which I wrote about here.) Talked to my brother this morning and I understand that it was much less horrific than Ivan was on their town last year.

Seems Granddaddy drove over this morning which was somewhat surprising since there was a supposed curfew (to which he reportedly said, "Nah..." and they took a little drive over to see if McDonald's was open for coffee since he likes to go get some there.) Then declared he was going home to see if there was any water so he could shower and have himself a nap.

I've mentioned I pretty well adore my Granddaddy, right? So glad ot know he's surrounded by people who also love him, and that he's safe and well.
