At least the earrings are great...

No photos today. Didn't even put the batteries in the camera. But I smashed my fingers about 70 times making those great copper earrings. Hammering tiny little things doesn't leave a lot of room for the fingertip that means to hold it in place. I used a pencil eraser for a while, but somehow it didn't work as well as you'd expect. Then I wore gloves for some of the hammering time. It worked out okay in the end.

I think I made more than 15 pairs of these new copper and silver earrings today and it was worth the smushed fingertips. They're so cool. I actually want one of each shape. At tomorrow's Holiday Bazzar at GTCC's Jamestown campus (Medlin Campus Center, Ground floor, click here for a map) I'll be displaying them on these great handcrafted racks my friend, Amber's, uncle makes. I picked those up tonight; hopefully there will be room to display everything attractively without too much clutter.

Anyway, today I made a nice looooong to-do list which included, of course, lots of things besides the two I announced this morning on my blog. And I checked off a few of them, too. But I didn't make quite 20 pairs of earrings like I'd hoped, and I didn't take pictures of necklaces. But I love the new earrings and tomorrow when I return from the sale, maybe I can start taking photos then!

Now I gotta' read myself to sleep early. Alarm clock mornings aren't my favorite so this seems like a good time to call it a night. That Grace Kelly book was moving much more quickly when I read more than a page and a half a day...
