Success with the cheesecake

I swear it was the best ever. Maybe not but since for some reason the center was about 5% from being firm (and I have NO idea how that happened, since I followed the recipe religiously) and I consider that to be a coup. It was a hit at our family meal, too, and I may actually make another one someday.

Meanwhile, the big carbfest we Americans celebrate every year this time, is over. I have endless things to be happy and thankful for and have thought about that a lot today.

Thanks for stopping by. And Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Tomorrow, a return to web-based work and jewelry-making. But tonight, total lazy vegging. It's a good thing.

YEAAAAY! Hi Daddy! Never saw you on here before. Thank you. It WAS tasty, wasn't it? I will make another one for Christmas. Now that I know I can make something that yummy, I see no reason to pay someone else...unless, of course, I run out of time. :)

Friday, at work I typed Melody Watson on search--I was suprized to see your name at the top! I did post a note but did not press the create post button. Dad just showed me how to do it!
I want you to know that I was bursting with pride.

I made three necklaces last night. I stayed up til 2:00 a.m. I wish I could make them as pretty as yours--it takes skill which you have developed. Let me say again--I'm proud of you and I love you very much. Cheese cake and all.

Love,
Mom

Oooooh! I'm getting all kinds of warm fuzzies. Thank you about the cheesecake AND the necklaces. Can't wait to see what you made. I know they're very pretty...as is everything you ever make. Which is a lot.

Love you too!
