What Cynthia Morris hopes

'I'm hoping to inspire you to live your life as a daring adventure.' - Cynthia Morris

Cynthia Morris said, at the end of her video blog, Juju Infusion #11: "I'm hoping to inspire you to live your life as a daring adventure."

I wonder if she has any idea that this is exactly what she does? And I'm pretty sure it's not just me who feels this way.

Meanwhile, this phrase sums up the essence of what I want for myself. Many of my choices do not yet reflect this approach to life, but I'm working on it. Daring adventures indeed...

PS: It's likely that I'll mention Cynthia Morris again in greater detail, in a future blog entry. For reasons related to the quote mentioned above. She inspires me for many reasons, and there's much more that can be said about her work. For now, though, just thought I'd share this much. Visit her blog. Enjoy her videos (currently filmed while she's in Paris.) Be creatively inspired. That's a plenty big enough start!

Thanks Melody for posting on my blog. My new study is a great place to be creative. Like you, I'm writing a book as well and it has been a great space to create. Also like you, I've received inspiration from Cynthia. I just finished her Make Writing a Happy Habit online class and got a great boost from her to get my book moving.

Anyway, it's great meeting you in this way. If you're on facebook you will find me there as Michael Bratton. I'm on Cynthia's friends list to more easily find me.

Great blog!

Melody,
Thank you for posting this! It's so kind of you to share this. I am glad to be inspiring...that's what's so great about this time and our ability to connect via internet, we can inspire each other!

The daring adventure bit is borrowed from Helen Keller. She's attributed with this quotation: "Life is a daring adventure or nothing at all." I love that. It moves me incredibly, and helps drive me past fears. It's so much more fun to be daring and adventurous!

Thanks again for sharing and for connecting! I look forward to knowing you more.

Hi Michael - It was my pleasure. I love peeks into people's creative spaces, and very much enjoyed seeing your new room. I hope your writing is going well. Thanks for the Facebook tip. I just reread your note and was glad for the reminder; I am on though not as frequently as many. I'll hunt you down sometime!

Hello Cynthia - It's true that the internet gives us so many opportunities to seek out the kind of inspiration we need. Small, small world.

The Helen Keller quote is a familiar one, and I'm glad you mentioned it here for the context; I wasn't thinking of her when I saw your video. Interestingly, although I have loved Helen Keller's story since I read about her as a child, and found her a great inspiration, it's the way you phrased your sentence "I'm hoping to inspire you..." that so resonated with me at this time! Just happened again just now as I wrote this. So thank you again!

I'm excited to hear more about Paris. Thanks for stopping by!

Cheers!
