Reminded me of something I had in a Japanese restaurant with an ex ex ex, circa lotta years ago

Now to figure out if I know how to prepare them... AND make them enjoyable! (The lack of photo the first time I published it, merely reinforces my awareness that I really need to learn how to master the Squarespace iPhone app. Which would be easy enough...just gotta' remember to keep testing it!)

Had almost exactly these is a Tapas restaurant (in Scotland!) last night! How funny!

Mine were sauteed.

That IS funny! Next time I'm sauteeing mine, too. I simmered mine in chicken broth so as to at least attempt to somewhat recreate that long-recalled flavor. Not sure I nailed it or not.
