Reflection: Space Needle

When you're in Seattle, it's fairly well guaranteed your going to see the Space Needle. And regardless of its familiar presence, each time it appeared above me as we drove or walked through the city, I felt a little awed. I didn't choose to ascend to the top, but I definitely made sure to shoot lots of photos that included this impressive tower.

Occasionally I'd see the Space Needle reflected in a window; this shot gave me a simple pleasure.

I can tell you the view from the top is spectacular. And looking down at the ground makes you appreciate the awesomeness of the structure.

AJ, it's cool to hear you think so. I'll remember your recommendation next time I'm in Seattle! Thanks!

I totally agree. After living here 5+ years, we finally went up in the Needle for the first time when my sister and nephew visited us this past summer. Just make sure to go on a clear day, when all the mountains are "out", including Rainier and Baker. Sunset would be the prime time of day, too.

Thanks for the reminder, Rachel. You and Rhi and Aaron and Bob and Andy made sure I had plenty to do to stay busy, but this will now be added to the list for the next time I'm in Seattle!
