In response to my rambly email concerning an idea I thought she should look into
Tuesday, 25 August, 2009 at 7:00 AM This was in my email inbox yesterday morning. At least she didn't ignore the note I sent her, which is what most people would probably have wanted to do if I'd sent them such an email while as hyper as I was when I wrote that one to her:
um.... trying to decide if you're a brilliant marketing genius I need to hire and follow (a distinct possibility) or if maybe you hadn't taken your meds in a couple of days and were just kinda... flying high? (Said with love and a smile.)

On the phone with my mom. Now. She says to me, "Did that lady hire you?" Me: "Which one? I'm working for several ladies right now." Mom: "The one who didn't know if you were taking ADD meds or not." Me: "That was a friend. Who sometimes hires me to do jobs for her, too." Mom: "Yea. I didn't get that. Your dad will get a kick out of that too."
For the record: I typically hold back most of the crazy when I'm working. My friends who are clients? They just get a little extra.
