Hopping around the back yard this morning

So this guy let me follow him around the yard for a while this morning, but his boundaries were very clear. Anytime I got too close (and I got way, way closer than I would ever have imagined,) he'd move a little further away.

He was hanging out near the nearest batch of blackberry bushes when I went out to see if the birds had left me any. Hm. I'd promised a follow-up about the blackberry bushes. Maybe soon.
