Greensboro's new film series: The Greatest Films You've Never Seen

It was cool to learn that there's a new film series in Greensboro. While I'd be hard pressed to ever pass myself off as a film buff, I do enjoy a quality film every now and then, and would generally choose a good movie over TV any day.

The Greatest Films You've Never Seen kicks off tomorrow night, Thursday, February 3rd, at 6:30 with a showing of Ikiru. The event is being held on the 2nd floor at the Greensboro School of Creativity's screening room at The Sanctuary, 900 Sixteenth Street.

The cost is only $5 per film and you don't have to register in advance.

Subsequent titles already scheduled for future series viewings are Man with a Movie Camera, Barry Lyndon, and Offret (The Sacrifice). Neither of which, turns out, I've ever seen! What about you? Have you been meaning to add some critically acclaimed films to your viewing experience? Maybe I'll see you there!
