Dark chocolate edamame at Trader Joe's

Earlier in the week, my friend Sara and I were in Trader Joe's, a sentence I don't usually get to say, seeing as how Greensboro doesn't have such an establishment. (And I'd really like to know why, too, while it's on my mind.) As we walked up and down the delicious aisles, my eyes fell on a label that caused me to literally do a double take. Seriously? Could it be?

And it was. Crunchy little edamame beans. Covered. In. Dark. Chocolate. Regular readers will already be familiar with my feelings (here & here) on both these items of tasty perfection, and I couldn't quite wrap my brain around the fact that such a combination exists.

Now I have to find another supermarket that carries the treat. And I'm sure they must exist nearby. I just never knew to look for such a thing.

Happily I was able to share them with 4 other people. Sadly they're all gone...
