Better tweak the priority pendulum

More than once I've promised to send some photos to a friend. Photos we took weeks ago. For some reason - certainly no good reason - I keep forgetting my promise and as of yet, those photos haven't been organized and sent.

This oversight came up in a recent phone conversation:

Me: I am so sorry! I really did meant to send them by now.

Him: It's okay. I know you'll send them when you can. You've had a lot going on...

Me: I do, but that's no excuse. I totally meant it when I promised I'd send them, and had certainly meant to do so by now.

Him: Well you're very busy. You've had a lot going on in West Virginia. You've had to take all those photos... of spider webs and stuff.
