A well-formed sense of humor

Rami at his 4th birthday partySo the little guy turned 4 on Monday, and since I'm in his posse, we spent a lot of time together last weekend, wrapped up in a world of party prep. Now that he isn't a baby anymore, we have the most interesting conversations together. My nephew has a magnificent vocabulary that's growing by the day, with the comprehension to back it up. I could be wrong, but I'm nearly certain I didn't use words like "actually," and "realized" when I was three.

Anyway, so we were having one of our most excellent conversations on Saturday, when I was reminded of just how cool this kid's sense of humor is:

Me: Rami, you know what word I think is funny?

Him: What? (As his eyes widened with genuine curiosity.)

Me: Chumbawamba!

He snickered, then raised an eyebrow.

Him: You know what word I think is funny?

Me: What?

Him: Upsie Daisy!

Then he threw his head back and laughed and laughed...

Rami: That's one of my favorite words too.

Getting ready to visit this adorable 4 year old. Can't wait to see him.
